Delivering a no-nonsense visual identity for a feline-first, Melbourne-based cat boarding facility

Project

Meowhaus is a cat boarding facility located in the inner-city suburb of Brunswick in Melbourne. With a hard launch of only a few weeks, I delivered an efficient identity that allowed Meowhaus to go-to-market quickly.

The brief was simple: include a cat, nothing generic, nothing overly cute, and nothing that might be mistaken for a vet clinic.

Informed by a competitor audit and drawing insight from the owner’s personality and preferences, I developed an identity that abandons the common visual trappings preferred by local catteries and vet clinics. It's a no-nonsense identity for a no-nonsense cattery that puts animal welfare above all else.
